STORY BEHIND THE DISH:

Mother often made homemade bread and gave it to friends as gifts.


INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg Fleishman's Yeast 1 Tbl oil
3 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt
12 cups flour, sifted  

DIRECTIONS:

Dissolve yeast and sugar with 1 cup warm water. Add to flour, oil, and salt with 4 cups warm water. Let dough rise. Kead down and form into loaves. Let dough rise again. Bake about 45 min at 375 deg F.
