STORY BEHIND THE DISH:
| INGREDIENTS: | |
| 1 cup milk | 2 tsp baking powder |
| 1 stick margarine | 2 tsp flavoring of your choice |
| 4 eggs | powdered sugar |
| 2 cups sugar | chopped pecans |
| 2 cups flour | |
DIRECTIONS:
Heat milk to a boil and add margarine. Beat eggs and sugar together. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add the four mixture to the eggs w/ sugar. Then add the milk w/ margarine. Add flavoring of your choice.
Spread in two 9 inch pans, greased sides, lined bottoms with wax paper. Bake at 350 deg F for 30 min.
Ice with a lite powdered sugar icing. Finish with chopped pecans.
